Shabe Farvardin, is the largest and most elegant celebration of the Persian new year in North America. Arash was honored to be invited to perform before 1200 guests for the event at the Embassy Grand Convention Center in Brampton Ontario.
The Persian New Year, Nowruz, which means “new day”, is symbolic of renewal and rebirth, the traditional Iranian cultural festival of spring which has been celebrated across the Middle East and Central Asia by Iranians of all ethnicities and religions at the vernal equinox (March 20 – 21) for over 3000 years.
